Barista Jobs

Grandiose Supermarket LLC is hiring a Barista in Dubai to join its UAE team. The position requires 2 to 3 years of barista experience, preferably with experience using ovens and handling bakery products.

Job Responsibilities

1. Welcome customers and understand their coffee preferences and needs.
2. Explain the coffee menu and answer customer questions.
3. Explain differences between coffee beans and coffee preparation methods.
4. Prepare and sell coffee drinks according to approved recipes and preparation techniques.
5. Prepare drinks such as espresso, espresso lungo, café latte, and cappuccino.
6. Help attract new customers and increase coffee and bakery sales.
7. Monitor coffee beans, supplies, pastries, and cookies inventory.
8. Operate coffee preparation equipment according to operating instructions.
9. Handle basic equipment issues and request maintenance when necessary.
10. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment in accordance with hygiene standards.

Requirements

1. 2 to 3 years of experience as a Barista.
2. Experience using semi-automatic or manual coffee machines.
3. Experience using ovens to defrost or prepare bakery products is an advantage.
4. Basic baking skills are an advantage.
5. Diploma in Food & Beverage or a school certificate.
6. Good customer service and teamwork skills.
7. Willingness to work on-site.

Salary

AED 3,200 per month, according to the job listing.
