Sous Chef Bakery Jobs

Grandiose Supermarket LLC is hiring a Sous Chef with Preservative Bakery Expertise in Dubai. The role focuses on developing and optimizing bakery products with extended shelf life while maintaining quality, taste, and food safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and standardize bakery recipes with extended shelf life for ambient and chilled products.
2. Research and implement natural and approved preservatives for bakery applications.
3. Improve product stability, texture, and taste throughout the shelf life.
4. Conduct shelf-life studies, microbial testing, and product trials.
5. Work closely with production, QA/QC, and packaging teams to maintain product consistency.
6. Optimize packaging solutions to improve bakery product shelf life.
7. Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSSC 22000, and local food safety regulations.
8. Troubleshoot production issues related to shelf life, spoilage, and product quality.
9. Maintain documentation for recipes, trials, and product specifications.
10. Train production staff on new recipes and bakery preservation techniques.

Requirements

1. Proven expertise in preservative bakery production.
2. Practical experience in developing and improving bakery products and extending their shelf life.
3. Strong knowledge of bakery preservation techniques and shelf-life testing.
4. Ability to troubleshoot quality and spoilage issues during production.
5. Knowledge of HACCP and FSSC 22000 food safety standards.
6. Ability to work effectively with production, quality, and packaging teams.
7. Good recipe development and documentation skills.

Salary

AED 8,000 to AED 12,000 per month.
