We are currently seeking Emirati candidates for the position of Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer within a government organization based in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.
Lead procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, and vendor selection.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and administer contracts and agreements.
Monitor contract performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
Resolve disputes and discrepancies with suppliers and contractors.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement needs are met.
Legal Compliance:
Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and contracts.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Law, or a related field.
Previous experience in procurement and contract management.
Proficiency in Arabic and English languages.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to work 8 hours per day in Abu Dhabi.
