Job Description | The Sales Engineer acts as a bridge between the technical and sales teams, combining technical expertise with sales skills to provide solutions that meet customer needs. This role involves understanding client requirements, presenting suitable products or services, and ensuring successful project implementation. |
Responsibilities | – Identify and assess customer requirements to provide tailored technical solutions. – Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations. – Develop proposals and cost estimates based on client specifications. – Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients. – Collaborate with customers to resolve technical inquiries or concerns. – Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support as needed. – Research and identify potential markets, clients, and applications for products or services. – Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. – Partner with project managers to ensure smooth execution of customer contracts. – Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert opportunities into sales. – Negotiate terms, close deals, and achieve sales targets. – Prepare sales reports and forecasts to inform management decisions. – Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products or services. |
