Associate lawyer

Bazul LLC is looking for a Singapore-qualified lawyer (0–5 years’ PQE) to join our growing dispute resolution and international arbitration team. We are an expanding practice, and we are keen to welcome someone who sees this role not just as a job, but as an opportunity to grow alongside the firm and be part of shaping its future.

This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys working on high-value, complex disputes, thinks commercially, and takes pride in offering practical, solution-focused advice to clients.

As part of the team, you will:

Work on various commercial litigation and international arbitration matters, often with a strong cross-border element

Tackle complex legal and commercial problems and help clients navigate them with clear, practical, and commercially sensible solutions

Play an active role in case strategy, drafting pleadings and submissions, and supporting advocacy

Work closely with partners and clients, contributing meaningfully to discussions on legal strategy and business outcomes

We are especially keen to work with a lawyer who looks beyond the law on paper — someone who understands the client’s business,

anticipates risks early, and helps chart a practical way forward.

We are looking for someone who:

Is a Singapore-qualified lawyer with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience

Has experience in complex commercial litigation and/or international arbitration

Enjoys problem solving and is known for offering practical, commercially grounded advice

Has strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills, with the confidence to take ownership of matters

Is forward-looking, business-minded, and curious about how law firms grow

Has a genuine interest in building client relationships and contributing to business development and marketing

Works well as part of a team and values collaboration, trust, and long-term growth
