Job Description
A private healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in dental nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care and assistance to dental patients during dental procedures and surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and oral surgeons during dental procedures and surgeries.
- Prepare dental instruments, materials, and medications needed for procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and assist in administering sedation and anesthesia as required.
- Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in electronic medical records.
- Provide support and assistance to dental team members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines for dental nursing practice.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Valid DOH license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proven experience in dental nursing, particularly in dental implantation and surgery.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
