Retail Cashier

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Cashier to process purchases accurately and provide efficient service at the checkout. The ideal candidate should have good numerical skills, handle payments responsibly, and maintain a friendly approach when assisting customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Process cash, card, and other authorized customer payments accurately.
Scan products, complete transactions, and issue receipts.
Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate cash register records.
Assist customers with basic questions, pricing concerns, and checkout issues.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Report transaction discrepancies, pricing errors, or cash differences to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic mathematics and cash-handling skills.
Good communication and customer service abilities.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Strong attention to detail, honesty, and reliability.
Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred.
