We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead and manage the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with Company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
The role is responsible for managing HSE risks, preventing incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate.
- Additional HSE qualifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, etc., are preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or EPC projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial HSE role.
- Experience in sewerage networks, pumping stations, utilities, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- UAE experience preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and hazard management.
- Knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW), isolation, and LOTO requirements.
- Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of HSE auditing and compliance monitoring.
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness and response.
- Experience with high-risk construction and electrical safety controls.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in subcontractor HSE management.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong HSE reporting and presentation skills.
- English language proficiency is mandatory.
- Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
