Manufacturing is the very core of our business. The Production Operators within our factories have their hands in it all. You’ll train in several functional areas within the manufacturing environment so you can effectively provide support to our production teams. Since safety is a top priority at Purina, much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition. Your ability to acclimate and problem solve quickly will be critically important as unforeseen equipment issues may arise throughout the normal operation day. You’ll have the opportunity to see our operations through the different shifts, working with experts in each of the different areas within manufacturing.

You will enjoy competitive weekly pay starting at $29.65 an hour during the new hire period (60 days), increasing to $31.58 with an opportunity to make $36.06 after 90 days.

*Must be open to working all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

*Must be willing to work Monday-Friday along with Saturdays and Sundays based on operational demands

  • Must always work safely by following safety policies and procedures. Must attend safety team and plant-wide meetings, safety and functional training, and perform regular observations.
  • Operation of Production equipment.
  • Sample ingredients and/or in process product.
  • Communicate with other operators, truckers, Team Leaders, and Quality Assurance and Food Safety personnel.
  • Maintain proper sanitation levels.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a production or machine operator.

The approximate hourly pay rate for this position is $29.65 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Incentives and/or benefit packages may vary depending on the position.
