We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fire Inspector to join our Poultry Division. The successful candidate will support fire prevention programs, conduct safety inspections, monitor fire protection systems, and help maintain a safe working environment across facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of experience in fire safety, emergency response, or occupational safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine fire and safety inspections of buildings, equipment, and work areas.
- Identify fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the maintenance and testing of fire detection and suppression systems.
- Assist in conducting fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Prepare inspection reports, incident reports, and safety documentation.
- Monitor the condition and availability of firefighting equipment.
- Participate in fire risk assessments and safety improvement initiatives.
- Deliver basic fire prevention awareness and training to employees.
- Coordinate with emergency response teams during incidents and emergencies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Fire Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fire Safety, IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in fire safety, fire inspection, firefighting, or emergency response.
- Knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems.
- Good understanding of fire prevention and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain inspection records.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Physically fit and capable of responding to emergency situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application
