Setting the strategy of The Channel in terms of Expansion plans, design the Business model on segmented approach which will maintain reaching potential and existing customers.

Manage the roll out of Channel expansion plans through multiple concepts by maintaining the capillarity within Region benchmark. Targeting specific Communities and Franchisee profitability and Digitization projects

Devise, recommend and gain approval for an effective retail marketing and sales strategy, ensuring it is consistent with Ooredoo Kuwait business requirements.

Oversee the effective implementation and administration of all Channel operating policies and procedures in order to ensure a favourable audit report.

Review Channel processes, systems and operations to ensure their effectiveness.

Develop ongoing improvement strategies through ongoing review and monitoring of Channel performance.

Input to the development of new products and services anticipating customer needs and preferences to ensure the stores network remains competitive in the market.

Source new locations and negotiate contractual terms and agreements as per business requirements.

Identify, assess and secure a network of incentivised sales distributors capable of achieving, or exceeding, demanding sales targets that contribute to increased market share and profitability.

Co-ordinate with the Marketing Department to provide distributor details for advertising purposes and the display material for distributor showrooms and new services offered to the market.

Participate in developing channel promotions, pricing and offers on Ooredoo Kuwait products and services, in partnership with Marketing.

Build a direct business relation externally with Partner’s GM’s and Owners and act as a trusted focal point that helped them to achieve the profitability required to maintain the relation with Ooredoo Kuwait

Design and implement the external reports highlighting the financial position of each partner and present all financial statements and P&L analysis to each partner individually.

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the channel sales mobile and data processes and procedures taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes.

Accountable for the overall performance of the Channel, network to ensure achievement of Retail sales targets.

Setting Yearly, Monthly sales target for the whole channel level and location level

Design Commission Schema which balances between OK sales objectives and Partner business continuity.

Improve customer feedback ratings through the proactive implementation of customer service programs and guidelines.

Work in accordance with the guidelines set by the Executive Director to meet and stretch Channel sales targets.

Deliver a series of programs designed to fully prepare distributors for their sales roles through providing structured marketing plans, intensive product and service familiarisation, motivational impetus and a complete Sales support facility.

Proactively manage and motivate staff under his department to be highly professional and results oriented to ensure that the Group delivers the optimum and agreed levels of contribution to OK revenue.

Design Commission Schema which balances between OK sales objectives and staff objectives

Ensure Individual Development Plans (IDP) are completed for all staff in accordance with OK policy.

Conduct annual performance appraisals (Performance Management System) and ensure objectives set are monitored and achieved.

Work to improve employee performance through personal coaching and identifying training and development needs.

Contribute to the Business & Consumer Sales Division communication plan through attendance of regular team meetings, the preparation of a weekly status report and attendance at team events.
Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
Share knowledge and expertise with peers and Retail Store employees.

Contribute to the Business & Consumer Sales Division communication plan through attendance of regular team meetings, the preparation of a weekly status report and attendance at team events.

Other duties as directed by CCO, or other superiors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management or similar discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
