As an English teacher, your responsibilities include: – Planning and delivering English courses, ensuring alignment with syllabus objectives.
– Creating lesson plans and materials in advance, and submitting them to the Academic Manager for review. – Maintaining accurate records of lesson plans and student progress, organized alphabetically by students’ first names. – Ensuring punctuality for lessons and breaks, and collecting student satisfaction forms on the second and last day of courses. – Providing individual and group sessions to improve students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. – Assessing and providing feedback on student work, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in short reports submitted to the Academic Manager. – Safeguarding juniors by following protocols, such as not leaving them unsupervised, keeping doors open during one-to-one sessions, and adhering to break and supervision duties. – Preventing unruly behavior and bullying in the classroom, and adhering to provided risk assessments. |
