Dear Sir,
I have come to know that your organization is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer. I would like to offer my services for the above mentioned position as my qualifications and experience appear to be in line with the essential and desirable skills, experience and knowledge required for this position.
I have worked as Sound Engineer / Duty Engineer/ chief engineer for past 25 year and have been responsible for all electrical/electronic equipment and operations in the hotel. My experience pertains to the management of all engineering/maintenance operations, including but not limited to the installation and & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, Water treatment, Fire Safety, maintenance, monitoring and testing hotels’ emergency and security systems.
As Chief Engineer with Lavender Hotel, I prioritize, plan, schedule, assign and supervise the engineering department staff and oversee all maintenance tasks and work orders. I ensure that proper records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for the hotel including repair and service records and also ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in a clean and safe environment.
All this diverse experience/exposure in the hospitality sector have added necessary skills to my repertoire which gives me confidence that this combined with my dependability, self- motivation, excellent organizational & interpersonal skills should enable me to be valuable team member of your team.
