Job Overview:
A reputable company in Abu Dhabi is urgently seeking a skilled Accountant to support the financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling day-to-day accounting functions under the guidance of the Senior Accountant. Key Responsibilities:
The Accountant will be responsible for assisting in daily bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing invoices and payments, and supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures. You will also be involved in tracking expenditures and maintaining up-to-date records to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Reporting & Coordination:
You will report directly to the Senior Accountant and will be expected to provide timely updates, generate financial reports, and ensure that accounting records are accurate. Coordination with the internal finance team and other departments is essential for the successful execution of your responsibilities.
Compliance & Accuracy:
A high degree of accuracy and confidentiality is crucial. You must be proficient in maintaining company ledgers, following audit procedures, and adhering to internal controls. Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting frameworks will be considered a strong advantage.
Technology & Tools:
The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems will be a plus. You should also be comfortable working with digital invoices, spreadsheets, and automated reporting tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Candidates with 2–4 years of experience in accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong analytical skills will be preferred. You should possess the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous financial documentation. Immediate joiners will be given priority.
