Job Description: As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications and contribute to the overall quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, following all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Provide counseling to patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Monitor patient medication therapy and intervene as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans, including medication management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient interactions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in medication safety initiatives and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Valid pharmacist license issued by the relevant regulatory authority.
- Previous experience working as a pharmacist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages, both written and verbal.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and best practices.
