Job Responsibilities
As an Assistant Chef at Timeless Bakery, your main responsibilities include:
- Assisting the head chef in food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to set recipes and standards.
- Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area and equipment.
- Handling and storing food ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality.
- Assisting in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize wastage.
- Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Good communication skills in English.
