Job Description:
We are currently seeking licensed nurses, specifically those registered with the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi, to join our team at a private home care facility. As a licensed nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our clients within the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients according to their individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and symptoms, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- University degree in nursing or a related field.
- Valid nursing license issued by the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as required.
- Previous experience in home care or a similar setting is preferred but not required.
